UPVC Front Doors: What is UPVC (or PVCU)?
PVCu and uPVC are the same things. PVC stands for “polyvinyl chloride” and is widely used everywhere. UPVC is “un-plasticized” polyvinyl chloride which has excellent properties for being made into windows and doors, such as:
- Does not decompose
- Very tough
- Resistant to weathering
- Doesn’t get affected by temperature
- Can be recycled
